Try this simple exercise

1.  Take a moment to relax.  Calm your breathing and settle in to just sitting.

2.  Without using your mind, using only the sensation of your body, try and escape this very moment… is it possible?

3.  Next, try and find exactly where this moment turns into the next... can it be found?

4.  Now, turn your attention/awareness to the sense of being alive - the uninterrupted sense of pure, silent, existence at your core.  Naturally the mind will fidget and thoughts may arise.  When they do and there is a noticing that there's thinking happening - simply and gently return to the sense of existence/aliveness or, you can also jump back to step 2 to bring the awareness out of the mind and more into the body.
